I don’t get to Auckland very often, but when I do, I almost always stay at The Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre. It might be a little out of my realistic budget, but I still choose to stay there, and there are a few reasons why.
I’ve now stayed at Nibble Nook in Tapapa, Waikato, twice.It’s a pretty remote location, set on a working Cattle Farm, but that’s the biggest appeal of it. It’s so peaceful.
Nothing has improved since October, if anything things got far worse. I don’t think I’ve ever hated my body as much as I currently do. A dramatic statement maybe, but it is what it is. I have a lot of work to do to get back to more of a body-positive mindset, that’s for sure.
Sometimes, it’s easy to forget that millions of people have hard stuff happening, when you’re drowning in your own hard stuff.
